The Manifesto

Astrology has a credibility problem. We’re fixing it.

Most of what passes for Vedic astrology today is fear, theatre, and gemstone sales. People walk into a session anxious and leave with a bigger bill and a smaller spine.

That’s not Jyotish. That’s a marketplace masquerading as a tradition.

Gemstones sold to date: 0. Always will be.

We started JYOTISHQ because the people we kept meeting — engineers, designers, doctors, founders — were either dismissive of astrology entirely, or quietly curious and embarrassed about it. Neither group was being served.

Real Jyotish is a tradition with a 2,000-year written record — a framework about time: when things ripen, when they don’t, and what your chart says about how you metabolize either outcome.

It is a system. It has rules. It can be studied. It rewards rigor and punishes wishful thinking — which is exactly why it survived two millennia of empires, invasions, and language shifts.

JYOTISHQ exists for people who want to engage with that — not the costume worn over it.

What we will never do

  • · Sell you a gemstone.
  • · Predict your death.
  • · Rush your free will.
  • · Pretend the chart is the person.
